Good Wood

Good guitars are made out of good wood. It turns out that the 4 or 5 I play most, all have rosewood back and sides, spruce tops, mahogany necks and ebony fingerboards. They are all acoustics of various sizes and shapes. They all sing to me in different voices and each voice is beautiful in its own way.

I have some electrics that are a blast to play, but most of my amplifiers are still being held hostage. They will soon be free and back where they belong.

I’m playing at the Black Sheep this Saturday, after taking most of the summer off. It’s been incredibly busy this summer at work and looks to be staying that way for the next few years at least. I’m happy I can be a part of bringing the unions back to South Dakota, but I do miss playing my guitars.
